Our 5-night / 6-day writers and artists retreats are located on 5-acres along the banks of Blue Springs Creek, tucked away in Ashland City, TN, just 30 minutes outside of Nashville. We offer writers plenty of uninterrupted time during the day to hone their craft and work on individual projects, coming together in the evenings to talk about the day’s creative process, often sharing meals and time around the campfire, as well as literary and artistic communion.

Accommodation

This intimate program is limited to four participants in a private apartment in the ground floor of our home, and a truly unique space: a covered bridge converted to guest house that spans the full-flowing Blue Springs Creek. Our property also includes a shared 500 sq. ft. sunroom with panoramic views for use during they days and plenty of outdoor spaces to work, as well as the opportunity for hiking, wading, floating and reflecting during breaks. Open to writers of all levels—all are welcome!

Disciplines, work equipment and assistance Open to all forms of writers, including fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry and more. Studio / Workspace Each space has its own desk, table etc for writing, and there is a shared 5,000 sq ft sunroom open during the day with plenty of writing desks and panoramic views of the property. $600-$700 depending on accommodation choice.

No requirements from the artist.
